Shipping FAQ

1. Because I chose an expedited shipping service will my order go out first?

Generally, the shipping method you choose will not accelerate the processing speed of your order. 

 

2. When will my order ship?

Orders are processed on a first come, first serve basis. No matter which option you choose, we will package and ship your order within 2-3 business days or sooner. For Holidays and sales, please allow for longer processing times.

 

3. Why is UPS Ground the only shipping method that shows up when I have 60mg (and higher) liquid nicotine in my cart?

60mg, 100mg and 250mg liquid nicotine blends are considered UN1196, Class 6.1, Packaging Group lll material (60mg - 100mg) and are exclusively shipped UPS GROUND under the limited quantities 173.13 exception (PG II 1L; PG III 5 L). As an example, if there are 50 non-Hazmat items in your cart and an item that is tagged as "Hazmat" or "Hazmat-Ground" is added, the only shipping option that will appear during checkout is UPS GROUND.

 

4. Why is UPS Ground the only shipping option that shows during checkout when I have certain flavors in my cart?

Some of the flavors that we sell are considered flammable and must be shipped as any other hazardous item would be shipped (FedEx Ground or UPS Ground). 

5. What are your policies on International Shipping?

We do ship internationally, however there are numerous issues that we have encountered in the past, so all international customers must exercise caution and due diligence when ordering.

No refunds will be issued for orders that are stopped or denied by customs or lost while in transit. Once international orders leave the facility, Nicotine River does not assume responsibility for said packages. However, if a package is returned to our facility we will issue a refund for the items, but a refund for shipping charges will not be given.

International customers are responsible for knowing their local and country laws pertaining to their imported orders.

International deliveries cannot be stopped once they leave our facility. The customer is responsible for providing the correct shipping address. No refunds will be issued should the customer provide an incorrect address.

Your Customs Department's processing times will vary and may impact delivery times. Please check with them if your package has not been delivered.

 

6. Why aren't there any shipping options showing for my International Order?

If you have a 60mg or 100mg liquid nicotine blend, pure nicotine or any flammable flavor mentioned above in your cart, no shipping option will show. Hazardous items cannot be shipped internationally. We can ship 48mg liquid nicotine blends and below, along with all nonflammable flavors.

 

7. Can I choose "In Store Pick-up"?

Local pickup is available from 8am-5pm PST, Monday through Friday. Please give us a call to let us know if you will be ordering and picking up on the same day, so we can have your order ready. Please understand that orders placed after 2pm PST will not be available for pickup until the following business day, due to processing and production time. Orders can be picked up at: 1825 Surveyor Ave Unit 103, Simi Valley CA, 93063

 

8. Are special delivery requests accepted?

Unfortunately, we do not accept special delivery requests since we are not the carrier. Requests such as "Leave on front porch" or "Place behind plant near door" will not be fulfilled. As the shipper once your package leaves our facility it is out of our control and is now in the control of the shipper (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.). If you do need a package to be held at your nearby chosen shippers location or rerouted please call us at 805-791-3304 and we will assist you.
